| The original pedal floor board (020) had been replaced by aluminum and polyester. In picture 021, 022 and 023 the new pedal floor board after it's been adapted for use in a Sahara. The round hole (022) is for the hydraulics and the wiring loom, the squire hole is for the gear change system. The guides for the pedals on the imitation floor board are very different from the original guides (023). I replaced these for the original guides, the one on the right has been replaced already. | ||||

| After all the work I did on the pedal floor board I had to see if it would fit. All the adjustments I made on it where quite good. The two hole that should secure it to chassis didn't line up I am afraid. In picture 028 you can see that it all fits nicely. | ||||

| The
replica sill is, as the replica pedal floor board,
not a very good fit and needs quite some work. Especially the bracket for
the jack is in the wrong position and it doesn't look like the original
bracket. The bracket on the right in picture 029 is an original one
removed from the original sill, this is also the original position. The bracket on the left is the one that
came with the replica sill and have to be removed.
Finally some progress, I have found quite a lot of very nice items. In picture 030 you can see on the right the clutch slave cylinder, I found. The clutch slave cylinder on the left is the one that came with the car and for some reason it has been changed. I have to change that back of course. Picture 031 is a special Sahara carburetor I bought, I will need on more carburetor. Picture 032 shows most of the rubber items I bought and in picture 033 two 155x400 rims I found. |
